Reclaimed offers a wide variety of custom framing options that stray from the norm. Each frame is hand crafted using only salvaged wood. The wood that is used has been found or “picked” from roadsides, dumpsters, or salvaged from demolition or construction sites in Southern New Jersey. The main goal of this small business is to reduce wood waste that is sent to landfills in Southern New Jersey.

This business was originally started so I could frame my own photography. I thought the stock frames in big box stores were poorly constructed and had absolutely no character at all, but worst of all… they were mostly made in China! I have nothing against China, but I do have something against the fact the I’ll never know where or how it was produced, how the workers were treated, and what kind of environmental damage ensued. Once I collected enough wood I decided that I wanted to offer my services to others. Now that I’ve practiced and learned framing techniques, I offer them to anyone who is interested in a totally unique, eco-friendly, and hand made piece to showcase their artwork.

Though my custom framing services I mainly work with traditional framing using glass and mat board, but I also do lots of custom work, including float frames for canvas prints. The sky is the limit… I can build whatever it is that you need and can ship nationwide. Below is a price list for standard size frames, pre-made frames, and custom framing.
