Spruce top

A couple years ago (time flies) while driving through Hammonton I noticed a wood pile on the side of the road. I stopped to check it out and in the pile was a bunch of old yellow pine flooring and a couple spruce floor joists. I grabbed a bunch of the wood with big plans for it. Two years later the wood has been sitting under a large tarp at my house.

Well, I decided to finally make something from this wood. With the old spruce joists I’m making a 20×42″ table top that I’m planning to attach to some steel hairpin legs that I’m going to get from another maker on Etsy. Now, I just need to decide if I want this to be coffee table or hall table height. I’m thinking coffee, since I actually need a new coffee table (my kids destroyed mine).
