Here are twelve of my favorite photographs that I made this year. There was a lot of diversity in my photography this year. Some of favs are candid moments with my kids. As you can see from my photos more of those tend to happen with my son than my daughter… Besides digital, I also began shooting on 35mm film again with a used Canon EOS 620. I have since moved on to an EOS 3, which I plan to use more in 2016. I haven’t shot film in a couple months (I still have 6+ rolls to develop from this year).
I’m looking forward to growing and learning more. Some of my goals are to shoot more weather, wildlife, and people, including street photography. I am starting to learn more post-processing techniques in Photoshop and Lightroom, like using luminosity masks and burning and dodging.
Happy New Year!
You are a man with many talents and gifts. Enjoy getting to see everything.
Aw, thanks so much, Irene! I really appreciate you visiting my site and leaving me a comment. Thank you!
You killed it in 2015, Ben. From my perspective you took an already well established photography talent and managed to take a huge leap during the year. Not only have your exposures gone from good (really good) to great, but the diversity in your work—all at superb quality—is both impressive and inspirational. Can’t wait to see your 2016 efforts.
Hey Greg, I really appreciate the honest feedback. It’s always fun to look back and see how you’ve evolved over time. I just keep wanting to try a little bit of everything and this past year really shows that. I hope to do even more in 2016.
The magic that you create in each and every one of your landscapes is an inspiration to me as well. Isn’t it fun when we can fuel each others fire to be creative and push our boundaries? Let’s get together soon.
