Custom framed small print
This odd sized print was custom framed inside a hand made reclaimed tongue & groove cedar frame.
The wood was salvaged from a 1920s salt box style house in Barnegat Light. It was one of my biggest sources of salvaged wood when I first started collecting wood back in 2007. I got it from my buddy Kirk’s house and wanted to save all waste that was produced from his remodeling project. I saved a ton of stuff, mostly wood. After working on that project I really had more interest in starting a business.
The print was inset in a double mat, off white on black, which breaks up the neutral colors of the print.
