Contest!!
In between working on all sorts various projects I managed to get the time to completely redesign and update my website (which was formally a free blog hosted by WordPress.com). Don’t ask how I had the time…haha. I used a custom theme that I built out and customized using WordPress.org software. There is so much flexibility and ability for me to be more creative on my own website. I am still building out my Portfolio with different featured projects and plan to create a sweet gallery to showcase my work.
I figured its about time to actually promote it. It features all the same stuff I had on my old site, including my blog, which is where you’ll find some of the latest news and photos of projects I’m working on. I’m glad you stopped by to check out my site! Anyone who leaves a comment on this post will be entered to win one of these jersey cutouts! They’re made from a section of cedar fence that I found during the last Barnegat Bay Blitz in May. I’ll ask my friends to help select a random winner on Friday, August 23rd.
Thanks for stopping by and good luck!!

You do beautiful work. You can see the passion that goes in to all your work. Hope your company flourishes more than it has.
Hey Lori,
Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my new website, and I really appreciate the kind words! The business has been steadily growing and I’ve loved working on each and every project! A win-win!
Ben
New site looks great man! I was about to ask you who did it and then I read that you did. I’m going to have to stop being lazy and learn to build one for myself. Me and Jess just bought a new house so we may be visiting here pretty soon for some goods to go with our already claimed reclaimed stuff.

Thanks Nick, and congrats on the new house!! Moving from a WP.com to a WP.org site wasn’t too hard, but I admit I payed for help from WP staff to move all my content. I just built out the new pages and changed my content to fit the new theme. Having a self hosted site is SO much better than my old blog. I love all the flexibility.
Nick, you won!! I friend randomly picked a number and “R” came up. Congrats! I have your shipping info, so I’ll get a cutout in the mail to you on Monday.
I admire your creativity. Every piece of wood you salvage to a wonderful piece of art-just perfect! Keep doing what your doing and best of luck! =)
Thanks so much Corinne!!
Hi Ben,
All of the pieces that you have done for me are great! Not a person comes into our house without seeing all of the frames of exceptional quality! Can’t wait to get more!
Noreen
Thank you, Noreen!! 🙂
Ben, the new site is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing more great examples of your work!
Thank you Anita!! 🙂
I enjoy seeing your work, simple, useful creations made from wood that many would have sent to the landfills. I am happy to list your site in my “favorites”.
Wow! Thanks you so much, Donna! I feel honored to have my site in your favorites list! 🙂
