Finishing touches

Well, I’m in the home stretch with the large dining table. So far I’ve got three coats of polyurethane on the table top. I figure it would take 1-2 coats to finish it off. Then add 2 coats to the bottom of the table. The base is pretty much done. All pieces are painted white but one (I had to recut one of the long bases b/c one warped like crazy after being cut). I thing that’s making this take longer to finish is the fact that I have been driving to my parents house to work on it (it’s currently in their garage) and they live 20 minutes away. I plan to pick it up and bring home for final finishing and assembly on Monday/Tuesday. Delivery is scheduled for next weekend.
