more custom framing
Now that all events are in the distant future, I now have time to concentrate on framing. I’m currently working on several custom framing jobs, some of which I’ve had to delay due to past shows and researching proper methods of framing limited edition prints and original artwork. The weather has been conducive to my work. My workshop is in an old garage on my property. It’s not heated (yet), so mild temperatures have helped make working late into the night bearable. I plan on hooking up an old pot belly stove out there soon (after I finish all my current workload). Then there’s my framing studio, which I still need to finish… I’m almost done painting, then it’s time to fabricate some custom cabinetry/table to cut glass, mat board, and finish framing jobs.
Tomorrow I’ll be working on another job….removing old wood from a house that is being demolished in Cape May. I’ll post some photos tomorrow of the wood and the demolition.
