Currently in a last minute rush to make some new items for my first show of 2014, Lines on the Pines. My old stash of goods was pretty much wiped out from last fall events & the holidays. It’s my own fault for slacking off, but partially to blame is the extreme cold we’ve had all January and into February. Since I work a 9-5 job sometimes it’s hard for me to muster the energy to go out in my shop, light a fire (to warm it up), then do woodworking for only a couple hours. I’ve done most of my work when I get at least 3-4 worth of time to devote to woodworking when my wife is home on weekends.
I’m extremely lucky that my wife allows me to take time away from her and our two kids to do this. Without her support I would not be able to run this small business in my free time. She’s a wonderful mother to our two kids, and I appreciate all of the time she gives me!! Love ya babe!
