Here’s a rush job I just completed. Valerie, the owner of North End Trilogy in Barnegat Light (sorry, they don’t have a website) brought me this portrait photo printed on a stretched canvas to frame. They wanted a beach type of a frame, so we went with a weathered (and sun beaten) reclaimed cedar. The frame is pretty beefy! The canvas is inset in a 3/8″ rabbet and the frame is trimmed out real nice to hide the spacers that I had to use to make the frame 1 3/4″ thick to cover the depth of the whole canvas.
A perfect pairing if you ask me! I really hope the family likes it! 🙂
