Reclaimed cedar frame

Here is a custom made reclaimed cedar frame. Wood used to make this frame was salvaged from my brother-in-law’s house in Tuckerton after the storm surge associated with Superstorm Sandy destroyed all of his beautiful six foot high cedar fence.

The wood was planed, sanded with 100/220 grit sandpaper, stained with a weathered gray stain, and finished with a boiled linseed oil & beeswax protective coating. It is being used by a client to frame artwork and includes glass, acid-free foam core board, and hanging hardware.

Looking for a great, eco-friendly way to frame artwork? Shoot me an email about having me make you a one of a kind frame!
