featured in the local media & Etsy blog

Got some good press in the past week. A week ago my Etsy username (reclaimednj) was featured as an author for a blog post on Etsy’s “How-Tuesday” blog. It was all about bats and building a maternity bat house. While I was a part of the project (particularly building the bat house), I didn’t write the post. A co-worker of mine (Brian Henderson) wrote the post, but he doesn’t have a store on Etsy so I was credited for writing it. It has brought a lot of people to my store though and will hopefully expand my current fan base (if I even have one…). The bat house that we built for the “how-tue” is still for sale in my store. All proceeds will be donated to the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ, the organization I work for.

Myself and reclaimed were also featured in an article in a local free paper, The Sandpaper. The story covered a full page (in color) that was right in the middle of the paper where a binding would be if there was one!! It was an awesome article that highlighted how reclaimed came to be along with photos of work on display in my house in New Gretna, NJ.
